As you step through the entrance of the Ryedale Folk Museum you will be transported back in time. Take a walk through the site and learn about the history of Ryedale from centuries past. Gain an authentic understanding of traditional ways of life ranging from the construction of a Cruck framed house in the Elizabethan Manor House to making bread, butter and vegetable stew in Crofter’s Cottage.
